The Graphics Board lets you create a compact assembly with a 64x128 graphic LCD and a JeeNode (or JeeNode USB, or SMD Kit). Ports 2 and 3 are brought out to attach a variety of additional plugs. It is designed specifically to be used with JeeNodes. It can also be used with other boards and MCU's, if you hook it up properly and adapt the interface code for it.
The backlight resistor is chosen such that on 3.3V, this display draws ≈ 6 mA, and on 5V it draws ≈ 19 mA.
There is a solder jumper on the board which normally connects the backlight to the PWR line. When connected to the IRQ line instead, that pin can turn off the backlight under software control (or dim it, using PWM).
Note that this board is designed for the JeeNode v5 and later. If you have a v3 or v4, you will have to mount the two left-hand caps differently because the ATmega is in the way. This does not apply to the JeeNode USB and the SMD Kit.
Note: Comes as a bag of parts and is easily assembled if you can follow the silkscreen indicators and have beginning experience with a soldering iron. It includes the Graphics Board with dark blue dots on a light blue background, which can still be read even with the backlight off, the 64x128 graphic LCD and backlight, all necessary components, and headers to connect a JeeNode.
